Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 27, 2026
1. Introduction
This policy explains what information Struggling Musicians Blueprint (“we”, “us”) collects when you use our website and tools, including the course, AI toolkit, Tour OS, the Deal Room, public tour and EPK pages, and public artist profiles. If you have questions, contact us at strugglinmusiciansblueprint@gmail.com.
2. Information We Collect
Account and profile information
When you sign in, we receive your name, email address and profile photo from your sign-in provider. You may add profile details such as artist name, bio, location, genres, roles, music links and contact preferences. Contact details are only shown publicly if you opt in.
Tour OS data
If you use Tour OS, we store the information you enter: tour dates, venues, venue and promoter contacts, booking pipeline notes, advances, settlements and workspace membership. Anyone you invite to a workspace can see that workspace’s data according to their role.
Deal Room and contract data
When you create, negotiate or sign an offer or contract, we store the contract terms, proposed changes (redlines), comments, and a timeline of actions taken by each party. When a party signs, we record the signature image, the signer’s name and email, the time of signing, and the IP address and browser user agent of the signing device. We keep this record so both parties can verify who did what and when.
Public pages and RSVPs
Public tour pages and EPKs show the information the artist chooses to publish. If you RSVP to a show, we store your email address and browser user agent and share the RSVP with the artist.
Community content
Our community feature is currently paused. Posts, comments and shoutouts previously made there remain stored with your display name and profile photo, and reports you submitted remain available to our moderators. You can ask us to delete this content using the contact address above.
Usage data
We use Google Analytics and standard server logs to understand how the site is used, such as pages visited, device type and approximate location. These tools use cookies or similar technologies.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the features you use and keep your account secure.
- To show your public profile, tour pages and posts where you have chosen to publish them.
- To keep a record of Deal Room negotiations and signatures for both parties.
- To moderate the community and prevent abuse.
- To understand usage and improve the service.
4. AI Features
When you use AI features (such as the toolkit, venue scouting or industry research), the text you submit and related profile details are sent to Google’s Gemini API to generate a response. Do not submit information you do not want processed this way. AI output can be inaccurate and should be checked before you rely on it.
5. Service Providers and Sharing
We use Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage and hosting), Google Analytics, the Google Gemini API and Google Maps to run the service. These providers process data on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information. We also share information when you direct us to (for example, with a Deal Room counterparty or workspace members), when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of users.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We and our third-party partners use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, and local storage to operate the Service, remember your preferences, measure audience traffic, and serve relevant advertisements.
- Essential Cookies: Required to authenticate users, maintain secure sessions (via Google Firebase Auth), preserve dark/light theme settings, and maintain workspace states.
- Analytics Cookies: We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors navigate the site, popular course modules, and feature utilization. Data is aggregated and anonymized.
- Affiliate Tracking Cookies: When you click on third-party partner links (such as Printify or DistroKid), the merchant sets a cookie to attribute referrals.
- Advertising Cookies: Used by Google and third-party advertising networks to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance.
7. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising Disclosures
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on select pages of the Service. Google and its third-party advertising partners adhere to the following practices:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites across the Internet.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve advertisements to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland are presented with a consent choice via a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) before non-essential or personalized advertising cookies are stored or accessed.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info or www.youronlinechoices.eu.
8. Affiliate Links & Commercial Disclosures
Some pages contain affiliate links. If you click one, the retailer or affiliate network may set its own cookies to attribute the referral. Their privacy policies govern that data. We may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
9. Retention and Deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can edit or remove your profile information at any time and may ask us to delete your account by emailing us. Signed contract records and their audit history may be kept after deletion where the other party relies on them or where we are required to keep them.
10. Security
We use access controls, encrypted connections and signed access links to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your Choices, Cookie Controls & Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and US State privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data for targeted advertising.
You can adjust your browser settings to refuse or delete cookies at any time. Note that blocking essential cookies may affect sign-in and workspace functionality.
12. Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, give notice on the site.
