2. What is a Smartlink? Your Central Hub

Part 4 • Necessity of Using Smartlinks as the Conversion Hub

A Smartlink is a single, universal URL that automatically detects a user's device and preferred streaming service, then redirects them to the most appropriate platform for your music. When a user clicks your Smartlink:

If they are on an iPhone with Apple Music installed, they are redirected to your song on Apple Music.

If they are on an Android phone with Spotify installed, they go to Spotify.

If they click from a desktop browser, they might see a landing page with all your streaming options.

This creates a frictionless user experience, ensuring fans always land on their preferred service.
