Your Publishing Administrator is responsible for collecting Mechanical Royalties and managing your publishing rights globally. This is the most complex piece of the puzzle and often where the biggest "royalty gap" occurs.

They also collect Performance Royalties from international PROs.</li> <li><strong>Examples:</strong> Songtrust, TuneCore Publishing Administration.</li> <li><strong>Action:</strong> Sign up with a publishing administrator. They will then register your songs on your behalf with all necessary organizations globally.</li> </ul> The publishing administrator typically takes a commission (e.g., 10-15%) but collects royalties you would otherwise miss.
