The pitching process is straightforward:

Upload via Distributor: Your track must first be uploaded to Spotify via your chosen distributor (e.g., DistroKid) with a release date at least 2 weeks in the future (to give you enough time).

Access Spotify for Artists: Once your distributor has delivered the track to Spotify, it will appear in your Spotify for Artists dashboard under the "Upcoming" section.

Find the Pitch Button: Click on the upcoming track. You will see a prominent button that says "Submit a song for playlist consideration" or "Pitch to our editors."

Fill Out the Form: This form includes details about your song (genre, mood, instruments, etc.) and an optional text box for a message to the Spotify editorial team.

Select Your Audience: Crucially, you will select demographic information that helps the Spotify team understand your target audience.

Step 3 of 10 in this module#113 of 1,000
