5. Creating Your Shopify Account

Part 5 • Connect Your Chosen Store

If you've chosen the professional path, your first step is to go to Shopify's website and sign up for an account. You will start with a free trial, during which you should select the "Starter" plan (approximately $5/mo). During setup, Shopify will ask for your store name, business address, and other details. This is a more involved setup than the Pop-Up store, as Shopify is a more powerful and regulated financial platform. Complete all the required steps. At the end of the trial, you will need to enter a credit card to activate your plan.
