5. Step 3: Writing Your "1-Chunk" Description

Part 1 • Creating Your First Product Listings

Do not write a novel. Customers scan product descriptions; they don't read them. Your description should be a single, easy-to-read "chunk" of text, perhaps supplemented with a few key bullet points. The goal is to provide essential information quickly. Mention the inspiration behind the design, the feel of the fabric (e.g., "ultra-soft, 100% ringspun cotton"), and the type of fit (e.g., "modern retail fit"). You can also add a sentence about your brand's mission. Keep it concise, evocative, and informative. For SEO purposes, make sure your product title is descriptive (e.g., "Aurora Bloom 'Midnight' Logo Tee" is better than "Black T-shirt").
