Your Reel must follow the "Hook and Hold" principle. As discussed in Module 12, the first 3 seconds (the hook) are crucial for stopping the scroll. The remaining duration of the video (the hold) must deliver on the promise of the hook. If your hook is a question, the video must answer it. If your hook is a dramatic moment, the video must provide the context. A common mistake is to have a great hook but a boring middle, causing viewers to drop off. Structure your video with a beginning (the hook), a middle (the payoff), and an end (the call to action) to maximize watch time.
