While the Meta Pixel is still part of the tracking setup (it acts as a backup and can still capture some data from non-iOS users), CAPI should be your prioritized tracking method. Meta's system is designed to deduplicate events, meaning if an event is received via both CAPI and the Pixel, it will only count it once, using a shared event ID to keep only one copy of each event. This ensures the highest possible data quality and accuracy for your ad campaigns.
