Step 1 of 10 in this module#181 of 1,000

1. The Fragmented Momentum Problem (Traditional Release)

Part 2 • How the Waterfall Strategy Compounds Momentum

In a traditional album release (e.g., dropping 10 tracks simultaneously), the algorithmic momentum for each track is fragmented. Only one track gets the Release Radar push. Streams for "Track A" count only for "Track A." Streams for "Track B" count only for "Track B." While they contribute to the album's overall streams, they don't necessarily build each other up synergistically in the algorithm's eyes. The Pop Score of the album itself can feel disconnected from the individual track performance.
